Mala Counter Set: Nepal, 21st Century

These are Mala prayer counters from Nepal. They carry the synbolism of the Buddhist 'Three precious jewels'. Lama Nurbu sent many of these sets - they are in excellent condition and of good size/weight. Used with and attached to a Mala (Buddhist prayer beads) to count the number of circuits of prayers (one completed circuit moves one bead up) there are 10 beads to each counter. This helps the individual to focus more on the mantras at hand and not focus on how many mantras they have spoken.

They are heavy, either made from silver or nickel maybe.
