Dorje Palmo; (She who is victorious over Ignorance). This is a powerful artifact -it appears to have been burdied for some time; the bottom seal has been broken and there are signs that attempts have been made to scratch out prayers embossed on the inside. A powerful Dakini and bestowed of great bliss on all beings. Also known as Vajravarahi she is distinguished by the head(s) of a sow that she wears in her hair. The sow is the symbol of the Ignorance which keeps us trapped in the illusion of suffering. She wears the heads as trophies as she brings the drunken dance of “samsara” to a end. She is beyond the fight and has gained full understanding of Reality. A rare and powerful artifact; size, 13 inched high x 9 inches wide x 3.5 inches deep; remarkably detailed; (11/04#3) - larger pics are available
